Geo Thermal - Indonesia sits within a “ring of fire” where 30% of the country is within a volcanic area. Geothermal energy (using the heat energy from deep within the ground) can be converted to either electricity or for heating. – Cost in setting a Geo Thermal plant for the last Geo thermal plant was US$60million.
Solar energy - Indonesia is fortunate to have 10 - 12 hour sunlight a day
